The pictures are from our trip to Venice and Pisa, We had a wonderful time!

Well it's been a few days since my last post, I'm not too sure anyone looks at my blog, but I'll give you an update.

So I signed up to be a leader for the Vacation Bible School here for the toddlers. Cadence thinks it's great because I'll be her teacher. On the other hand, now that I've signed up I have to go to the meetings and the next one is Pauls day off, but he has to go in for training, soI would have to pay for a babysitter if I want to be able to pay attention to the meeting and not her. It's really hard with his work schedule for me to do anything. But I really wanted to get involved in something and this just seems right.

My neighbor is paying me to make a scrapbook for her to give to her boss, because he's leaving, it's a pain but it's $100 so I'll do it. Paul is still taking Italian class and he still thinks it's pretty hard.

Cadence taking swimming lessons, and she loves it! She's like a little fish in the water and she hates getting out. She is going to her first pool party for her friends birthday on saturday. Well I have to go clean because our maid is coming tomorrow! Sounds crazy I know, I used to laugh at my mom when she said that! I wanted to put some pictures on here from our vacation too!

Well today is a very sad day, Shelly has passed away, at a very young age and a very new mother. Please keep her family in your prayers.

Wednesday 13 June 2007

So it's another day, pretty much the same stuff. Cadence had music class today and she loves it! Everday she asks if she can go to music class, so we signed her up for another class in August. She sings all the songs all day and loves seeing her friends from class! She seems so grown up! She got invited to a birthday party at the pool! The only bad thing is we don't have much of a selection for gifts here, everything out in town is really expensive.

I had my second 'stamping' job today I made 25 menus, and I got paid for doing what I love!

Paul has tonight and tomorrow night off , but he has meetings all day tomorrow and class tomorrow night. Paul is taking an Italian class, it should be interesting to see how this goes! The thing about being here is , if he has a day off during the week he really isn't off. We are getting used to it we just look forward to his 3 day weekends, which is every other week.
Well I guess thats all for now, I'll write more tomorrow!

So I have alot to put on here but I really wanted to get some pictures on here fist , but I want to write while I'm thinking about it.
So we have a friend named Shelly Mills she is a very young mom and is fighting cancer, well she has been since Dec last year, she's really not doing so good (you can go to and look up shellymills and you can read all about her story and fight) she was the one person you would never expect to have cancer , but I guess thats how it works. She has a baby boy who won't remember who his mommy is. We pray for her everyday and we have put her on every prayer list we can. So my point is if you have ever prayed before and for some reason don't know PLEASE start back for her. There might not be and hope that she'll make it, but maybe she can be at peace with it and her family too.

Ok so I don't want this to be a sappy blog, but I have to say things on here I want everyone to know.

So on Sunday morning we were at church as we try to do every Sunday, and one of the 2nd classes that worked for Paul up until last week came up and said hi as he always does, But then the best thing ever happened and I have to say I started crying like a waterfall..... He said " Chief, I was looking to talk to you, I want to say it was great working for you and I never learned so much from any other Chief I worked for , you have been the best Chief I've met in the navy !" . Ok So maybe I'm a really proud wife, but this is what my husband has always wanted to do. He wanted to teach the Jr guys how to be a Chief and a leader and now this guy got moved to training! My husband is the best Chief in the navy right now, he cares so much about his guys (and girls) they all look up to him and it's the best thing ever to see!

Well I guess thats it for now, I guess I'll have more to say after I get some pictures on here!

I hope the link works for Shelly's page if not its www.carepages.com and look up shellymills ...Thank you !

Here is some more information about us!
We have been married since October 2003. Larissa,Greece was the first place we lived together and we had a really great time. Our daughter Cadence was born on September 25th 2004, in Virginia. She was a blessing, we never thought we would be so blessed to have such a wonderful daughter. She is our world now, and it's amazing to watch her grow and learn everyday.
Being in Italy is something we always knew we wanted. When we found out we were going to Italy Paul was in Iraq and we knew it was the only way we could have 3 years of family time. So of course he took the orders. We moved here and it was hard watching everyone say goodbye to Cadence, and it's still hard to think about it. She really misses her Bear-Bear (Jimmi's dog Tara) she talks about her all the time and always says shes her best bear-bear! We did get Cadence a dog her , her name is Piper she a rescued dog from Carney park, she's really cute she looks like a mini yellow lab!
Ok well I hope this is how this blog thing works, now I have to figure out the picture thing, and everything else!
